About Pardon Me Doug – A Tribute to Phish

Pardon Me, Doug (aka PMD) is New England’s premier Phish tribute band formed in the fall of 2012 by Portland, Maine music scene veterans with one goal in mind: to celebrate the music and community of Phish with the hungry Maine phans that love live music.

PMD has quickly amassed a loyal following of their own fellow Phish fans, who like themselves need their fix when Phish isn’t on tour. With a catalogue of over 250 songs, no PMD show is the same and the jams are a perfect blend of years of Phish influence intertwined with their own takes on the high-energy improvisation that Phish is so well known for. A PMD show is not just a concert, it’s an experience! As fans themselves, the band’s primary objective remains unchanged: to have as much fun as possible sharing in the groove, living the life they love making music with their friends, and allowing people to get away from this crazy world we know, even if just for a bit.
