Cash donations will be used to purchase items through suppliers like Good Shepard Food Bank\, stretching each dollar as far as possible.\n\nMaine ranks 12th in the United States in food insecurity\, a sobering statistic that doesn’t escape our community.\nEach month\, the Augusta Food Bank provides nutritious food to 350 households (800 people). Each week\, they provide Weekend KidsPaks to 100+ children\, and their Food Share program provides twenty-five area food banks\, churches\, recovery homes\, youth centers\, and senior living units with meats\, produce\, bakery\, and dairy items to help feed thousands of our neighbors.\n\nThank you for the support!
